Nanaimo Wedding Photography | B&A | Engagement

Rebecca and Aaron have been together nearly 11 years, and met one fateful night after last call on a street corner in Nanaimo when each of their friends ran into each other. Begrudgingly they engaged in conversation, and agreed to grab a slice of pizza at Mambos before heading home. That slice sealed the deal for them and they have spent all of their time together since. Having their engagement session in a location that meant so much to them, and having photos that told their individual story in these so locations was their priority. They reached out and had us travel to their hometown to capture their moments while they visited over the holidays.

We began their session outside the Modern Cafe with it’s neon sign and classic exterior. We walked together, taking in their favourite nooks and crannies of Nanaimo before taking a break from the cold to enjoy a commemorative slice at their favourite pizza place. We took some photos of them in their element before heading to Piper’s Lagoon to capture some authentically Pacific Northwest beach shots at sunset with their dog Charlie.
