E&I | Victoria BC Wedding Photographer | Parkside Hotel Wedding

E&I met while working in the nursing field, completely by chance. They shared a bond over their careers and it was obvious from our first meeting that they compliment each other so well. “E” is a quiet and analytical person, while “I” is more outgoing, but both share a love of adventure, travel, and vegan food. 

I met these two after helping E plan a surprise proposal in the inner harbour in Victoria. It was a rainy day but ultra romantic, incorporating some of their favourite backdrops into the scene for the proposal. Despite the weather, it was a resounding yes and we decided to schedule our engagement photos for another day. We met up again not long after and by this time the wedding plans were in motion. I ended up not being available for their date, as it was to take place in Kelowna. But once again, mother nature had other plans. With some forest fires in the Okanagan, E&I were forced to move their wedding just a week prior, and decided to head back to Victoria where their lives together began. I just so happened to be available and pulled together some wonderful vendors who were free on short notice. Even though they had since moved to Alberta, their family and friends pivoted their travel plans and the day went perfectly.

It was all sunshine and smiles from there on out!
