K&J | Victoria BC Weddings | Hatley Castle

K&J met in Whistler through mutual friends and J thought it was fitting to propose to K back in that very spot, above the clouds on a mountain.

They brought their family and friends to Vancouver Island to tie the knot at the historic Hatley Castle – K wanted a castle wedding, no big deal! J agreed to make her dream a reality and the rest is history. 

Their wedding day was an afternoon black tie affair overlooking the lush gardens, with a reception to follow in the castle. The space was jam packed with their favourite people from far and wide and decorated meticulously, coordinated and planned by J’s SIL. 

We shared so many laughs and their fun-loving personalities made the day a blast (check out the last few photos for a father-daughter dance surprise!).
