Sooke BC Elopement | C&J | Vancouver Island Photographers

Caity and James came to us super last minute in hopes of creating an elopement plan within two weeks of their ideal elopement date. We said “Hell Yes!” to being on board for their wedding, and we’re thrilled to bring Barbara Densmore onboard as their celebrant, as she’s always up for an adventure much like we are!

Caity and James weren’t fussy about much, but wanted to have an intimate, fun ceremony, a few florals and pop some champagne. The idea of having a big wedding terrified them. East Sooke Park was the perfect location, as this is where James proposed to Caity. On this sunny summer weekday, we witnessed them say “We do!” with the waves crashing around them and the sun warming them up. We followed the ceremony with a few Bride & Groom photos and ended the adventure by popping some bubbly on the beach. We left them to enjoy a romantic sunny picnic together to take in the moment.
