Portugal Cove Ferry Dock and Waterfront
The dock, the boats, Bell Island sitting across the water — this location has incredible natural character. Moody, coastal, and distinctly Newfoundland.
Barrens Open barrens with big sky and sweeping views. Perfect for golden hour sessions — the light out here at dusk is something special. Lots of these around if you look hard enough!
Coastal Shore Some of the most scenic driving on the Avalon runs through this community. The roadside coastline offers incredible natural backdrops for couples and families.
Neary’s Pond & Hike A quieter, lesser-known spot with a small area with beautiful water views and a trailhead to a hike that leads to an epic view looking over Bell Island (one of the best views on the avalon).

Eat: The Grounds Cafe at Murray’s Garden Centre, Landings Restaurant (recently closed due to a fire, but hopefully will re-open). Azul Restaurant

Walk or explore: Neary’s Pond trails, St Phillip’s Beach, Head over to Bell Island.
