If you were as overwhelmed with choosing a Wedding Photographer as we were, look no further. Heather checked all the boxes for us right from the start:- She is friendly, so fun to be around, and seamlessly works with other vendors, our wedding party and the church we were married in (not to mention parents/grandparents who can get tired of photos quickly). This took an immense amount of pressure off, knowing we were all in happy, capable hands!- Heather is super organized. This is so so sooo important … More as things get crazy hectic in the months/weeks/days leading up to that important day! Heather gave us plenty of time to fill out the pre-wedding questionnaire (which was ultra helpful and I will get to that in another point), so even though we procrastinated, we still had plenty of time to work out any kinks or scheduling questions well before the wedding day.- Her pre-wedding questionnaire was a HUGE help for everyone. Heather asked about any touchy family dynamics, important people we want captured, detailed lists for who would be in the family portraits, and the list goes on! These are items that are so important to understand and think about prior to your wedding day as you don't want to miss anyone or any moment. I am very grateful the questionnaire was so thorough.- She goes through hour by hour (sometimes minute by minute) how the day is going to go with you, and things you need to consider when changing locations or getting a large group of people together. We tended to be very optimistic with timing so thankfully Heather questioned those parts and suggested ways to get the end result we wanted without putting anyone's sanity at risk.- She was flexible with us when setting up an engagement session. We wanted to include cherry blossoms as well as some photos in front of the Legislature buildings (which we knew would be crazy busy on our wedding day). Heather came up with a variety of locations for our engagement shoot to get the photos we wanted, and it was a nice opportunity to feel comfortable in front of the camera.- Heather's photos are a nice mix of documentary-style and posed photos. She provides enough direction to not feel silly in front of the camera, and still maintains natural interactions.- The most important aspect for us from the start was that Heather's photos are timeless. No crazy editing, the photos looked like the day felt and we could not ask for better photos to cherish forever.From start to finish, Heather was a dream to work with. We had so much fun with her and were sad to see her leave at the end of the night. Thank you so much for the amazing work you do, we could not be happier!

Heather is not only an extremely talented photographer, she is a savvy business woman, and a great person. I have been lucky enough to have her photograph some lifestyle, wedding, and business sessions for me- all of which are my favourite images! Book her early, her skill is coveted.

We were lucky enough to have Heather photograph our wedding! She was INCREDIBLE, some how catching tons of great candids, natural shots, and perfectly posed classics. Really captured the feelings of the day. A true professional, couldn't recommend higher !

5 stars!!! Heather photographed our vows renewal at Lake Cowichan and we couldn't be happier. We love her beautiful photographs and will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives. She was also super easy to work with and made helpful suggestions that contributed to the planning process from the get-go.
