Graduation is one of those milestones worth documenting properly, not just a quick snapshot. Real photos taken with people that helped your grad get to where they are today. I specialize in outdoor lifestyle and posed grad sessions in and around St. John’s, capturing everything from candid moments with friends to posed family group shots to portraits that reflect who the grad actually is. Sessions take place outdoors, at your home, or at the event itself. Some families have me arrive as everyone gathers at the venue to capture those early moments with friends before the event begins.

I photograph high school grads and post-secondary grads alike. Sessions can happen on grad day in formalwear or cap and gown, or we can schedule something separate, a lifestyle session built around the grad’s personality rather than the day of the event. University and college sessions can be held on campus if that’s meaningful. As for who’s included, solo portraits of the grad are always the core of the session, but family group shots, siblings, grandparents, friends, or a date/partner are all welcome. The session package you choose determines how much time and flexibility we have, as well as the number of locations that will be possible.

St. John’s gives us a lot to work with, including Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi, Jellybean Row, Cape Spear, Middle Cove Beach, and plenty of green space in between. Grad season fills up fast, particularly in June. If you’re planning for a spring or summer grad, reaching out early is the best way to lock in your date.
