Nanaimo Wedding Photographer | L&C | Backyard Garden Wedding

Craig and Leanne met in high school, but didn’t start their love story until after they both graduated. For four long years, Leanne lived in Vancouver while Craig lived in Nanaimo, but worked in Alberta doing shift work. They were lucky to find a few days a month to spend together, but knew the payoff would be worth the distance. Most of their time together during those four years was spent in Vancouver, so once they finally settled in Nanaimo to build their lives together, Craig brought Leanne back to a park near her old apartment in Vancouver to ask for her hand in marriage.

Leanne is the Yin to Craigs Yang; they balance each other out perfectly. Their dog henry is also their first born, and fittingly he had to be present on their wedding day (for photos at least!) just as he was at their engagement session. Their first look took place at a park in Nanaimo followed by a visit from Henry, a forest adventure, and their ceremony and reception at Craig’s parents beautiful property. The day was intimate and full of laughter and happy tears. Here is a peek at their beautiful day.
