HCP & Fireside Restaurant Wedding | Erin & Steve | Victoria Photographers
Erin and Steve met through a mutual friend who happened to be going to business school with Steve in Victoria. At a house hangout, they hit it off and have been competing for each other’s love ever since. Erin, an outgoing and adventurous gal, usually schools Steve and their friends at Fantasy Football, and enjoys the more competitive things in life. Steve, who would choose a good book in good company (Erin’s company), also shares a love of sports and competition, making them dually suited to challenge and support each other in their adventures.
Steve proposed to Erin at the Butchart Gardens in the sunken garden. He won her heart and we were thrilled when they picked us to capture their love story. Their wedding took place the the lush gardens of the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific (HCP) in Victoria, with their reception at the cozy and intimate Fireside Restaurant.
Our favourite moments of the day include 90s pop jams for Erin’s prep (the way to my heart!), and impromptu can-can dance, the most epic cake and dessert table (thanks Cake by Taryn!) we’ve ever seen, and a perfectly executed choreographed number for their first dance.
Congratulations you two, and thanks for having us as your photographers.
Here’s a peek at their day!
